DNA can be a novelty, a last resort, or a staple of your genealogy research. For less than $100, a basic DNA test can tell you about your ethnicity, ancient lineages, recent brick walls, and even health. More specialized tests can often tell you even more.
But there’s a lot to learn.
Not sure where to start? Have results and want to up your game? Ready to use advanced tools? As much as I like to educate through this blog, often a more interactive experience is best for teaching and learning.
That’s why I’ve partnered with Family History Academy to offer a three-part, online, educational series that meets you where you are and helps you get to the next level. Attend any session—beginner, intermediate, or advanced—or register for the whole series at a discount.
The classes are live with an attendance cap so you can ask questions and get personalized attention. The three classes are spaced a few weeks apart, allowing you time to practice what you’ve learned before you move on to a new skill set.
The beginner session is a 1-hour classroom-style lecture, while the intermediate and advanced sessions are 3-hour workshops with practical exercises intermixed with the presentation. Recordings will be available for 2 weeks after the last session, and a syllabus is included.
All at a great price! Check it out at Family History Academy!
