Father’s Day 2017 Sales have been announced! — UPDATED
I will continue to update this post as needed. Companies are listed in order of autosomal sale price in US dollars. (Note: I earn a small commission if you purchase through the links in this post. The cost is the same for you. Click here for more information.)
Family Tree DNA‘s Family FinderTM test (comparable to the other tests listed here) is $69 ($20 off). Their entry-level Y-DNA test (Y-37) is now $139 ($30 off), and if you bundle the two together, you can get both tests for $199 ($59 off). Sale ends June 18th.
MyHeritage‘s test will be on sale for $69 (normally $99) from June 11th until June 19th. I will post an updated link to the sale closer to the start date.
23andMe‘s sale runs through June 18th (ends at 11:59pm PST). You get $20 off either the Ancestry Service (sale price: $79) or the Health + Ancestry Service (sale price: $179), with a limit of 2 kits. Plus, free gift wrap!
Living DNA is currently $119 (regular price $159).
Not Sure Where to Start?
If you’re new to DNA testing, this post might help. It’s geared towards people who are searching for unknown parents (or grandparents), but the advice is broadly applicable to anyone interested in genetic genealogy.
